Hasan was knowledgable regarding the turkish culture and history. We had a few instances of when tour members' questions were answered in a less than respectful manner. Perhaps this is a cultural difference, but I did not always feel free to ask questions or make comments.

Selcuk is a born leader. I would have followed him anywhere and "loved it." His love of Turkey was contagious and his knowledge incredible. Selcuk displayed a great sense of humor and command of the English language. He is the absolute best tour guide!

Our driver was very qiet, the last day of the tour we found out he actually can speak English and understood much of what was said. He was always keeping the bus clean and ready. A beautiful smile and gentle hand given to each of us, that was Ahmed.

Memed was a quiet gem. Many of us were amazed at his skilled driving and nobody got "car sick" inspite of strong histories. He was quiet but very observant and tolerated our attempts at Turkish. He seemed to join with and enjoy our group.

I don't recall if we were warned about the aggressive shopkeepers in Istanbul but they were somewhat overbearing at times in soliciting our business.
It is all very clearly laid out before and during the tour. Loved the maps that Hasan gave us of the cities we would be visiting. It really helped.

After the trip, we realized importance of the tour guide in making it a special experience. Tour does a good job of anticipating interests of tour members and does a good job of balancing given that the various people on the tour will have varied interests. We plan to take another tour in Turkey.

Impressed with the underground city of Derinkuyu in CAPPADOCIA. Amazing engineering accomplishment. Friendliness of the Turkish people. Felt comfortable wherever we went. The ruins of the City of Ephesus provided an insight of the living conditions of that era.
