Selcuk was one of the best guide's I have traveled with. He seemed to take great pride in showing us his country and teaching us it's history. He has a great sense of humor, full of suprises and always there to help us out whenever we needed him.

Selcuk is exemplary. Knoledge of Turkey from a historical, social and political aspect is extensive. He never wasted time and took great pains to work our visits to ruins, museums etc. when the fewest tourists were there. Everyone on the tour raved about him.

Guide was very knowledgable about history dates etc. Would be nice not to give so much detail when explaining the next days activities. Lead guide was a bit blunt at times. Perhaps he was thinking about his wife having the baby at any moment.

Hasan clearly was proud of his country. The fact that there was a constitutional crisis going on while we were there was fascinating. He really tried to give us as much detail as possible. I for one really aprreciated hearing this civics lession. His command of English was superior. His knowledge of the history of his country as well as the antiquities was also excellent. I don;t have many guides to compare him to, but i was more than impressed

Knowledge of archeology and history seemed limited to Ottoman empire/Islamic topics. A lot of history happened before the Ottoman empire, and I would have appreciated a more balanced presentation.

Hasan was very clear in what and when we were going to do things. I liked his no-nonsense attitude to being on time. And everybody was.He was flexible about time based on what we were going to see and what else was on the schedule.

Can was amazing. Driving in Turkey must be one of the nightmares of the world. He maneuvered that bus very well. He is shy, but we insisted that he do some socializing with us. Very nice guy and a super driver.

Generally happy and courteous, but on occasion ill-tempered. Got the job done, but did not obey traffic signs and stop lights putting us in undue danger.
