The Gulet
Constructed mainly in the shipyards of Bodrum, Bozburun and Marmaris, a Gulet takes more than a year to build.
Gulets are motor-cruisers, but they are equipped with full rigging and sails that can be used when the weather and itinerary permit. Many of these broad-beamed, wide-decked boats have been transformed into floating hotels, designed to blend tradition with practicality and to provide those who stay on board with an enjoyable and relaxed “Blue Voyage” experience where guests are expected to do nothing except enjoy themselves on land or in the sea.
The Gulets we operate vary in size from 50' feet to over 100' feet and from two to ten cabins and can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people. Cabins are either twin or double bedded, have private facilities, are fitted with electrical 220 volt power points, a wardrobe and a porthole or window.
Most Gulets have dining areas both inside and out and, comfortable cushions add to the pleasure of lounging and sun bathing on deck. For water sports enthusiasts a wind-surfer, a canoe, some snorkeling gear and fishing lines (without the rods!) are all provided on board.
A Gulet allows exploration of secluded bays and deserted coves and the small harbors and coastal villages that are visited offer intimate views of life larger cruise ships simply can not intrude upon.
